Brushing melted beeswax onto the bottom edge of V-shaped top bars, onto wooden comb guides in new frames that you're not using foundation in, or onto comb guides in the top bars of octagonal hives can help to ensure that your bees will draw straight combs. Applied with a 3/8" flat artist's brush, a single bar of wax should easily provide enough to do 8 pieces. Sold individually and includes instruction sheet. Wax bars are included with the purchase of any hive that uses only top bars (not frames) and is also included with the purchase of replacement top bars for those hives.
